I love a great story. Telling stories is my jam . . . and my bread and butter.

I’ve always been inquisitive. Like a detective unearthing clues to a case, I have an insatiable curiosity about the world at large. I started producing and reporting for PBS during college, and once graduated, I left the Midwest and headed south to Atlanta and CNN. Soon after my arrival, the U.S. became embroiled in the Gulf War, and the fledgling 24–hour cable news network was suddenly on the map. It was a boon for a newshound like me—working in a kinetic newsroom covering national and world events.

In subsequent work in Los Angeles and New York City as a writer, producer, and director, I delved into subjects ranging from breaking news and current affairs to espionage, terrorism, and serial killers, investigating life’s underbelly and bringing to light some of the darkest moments in recent history.

But I’m not limited to heavy-hitting fare—I also write, produce, and direct docudramas and docuseries that are as entertaining as they are engaging. I work as a voiceover artist in television and film. And, sometimes, when I’m not working behind the scenes, I appear on camera too.

I currently reside in Los Angeles with my witty husband (who happens to be quite the storyteller), my equally witty daughter (who tells a great joke), and my rather amusing golden doodle (who likes to humor me). So, there you have it. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
